The Visitor – a golden tribute

For the 15th anniversary of The Visitor, Gardeco Objects adorned their iconic figurine, a design of Belgian artist Guido Deleu, in a luxurious golden jacket, not only celebrating The Visitor’s birthday, but also celebrating craftsmanship and the makers in Bahia and Venice.

The Visitor adds for the last time another stop to his already remarkable journey: Venice, with the aim of reviving the lost craft of gold beating. From the meticulous process of transforming gold into delicate leafs at the Mario Berta Battiloro studio, the last standing goldbeating atelier, to the skilled hands of Elisabetta Mason for applying the gold to the statue, every step of our journey is infused with dedication and craftsmanship.

This limited edition of The Visitor small is available in yellow and white gold. White gold is a combination of pure gold and white metals such as silver or rhodium, one of the most precious metals in the world.
