Langkawi collection

In tribute to the global tradition of mask-making, Belgian designer Stefan Schöning has now created his own decorative mask collection called Langkawi. These five anthropomorphic designs are named after Langkawi, a Malaysian island that is home to skilled woodcarvers and to the beautiful hardwood used for this collection. The masks exude rhythm, and are symmetrical in their asymmetry, echoing Schöning's minimalistic style. The collection includes five masks: Eclipse, Elephant, Offspring, Sunrise, and Toucan.
