Join us in celebrating craftsmanship and a golden moment in time!
For the 15th anniversary of The Visitor, Gardeco Objects adorned their iconic figurine again in a luxurious golden jacket, not only celebrating The Visitor’s birthday, but also celebrating craftsmanship and the makers. A journey that takes us from Belgium to Brazil, from Venice to the world.

Give back, more than once
The Visitor left a piece of his heart in Bahia in Brazil, where he is manufactured by hand at Cores da Terra, a studio of Selma Calheira. Cores da Terra has become extremely well known for developing and educating local artisans, as well as for its direct contribution to the economic and cultural development in one of the poorest areas of Brazil.
Today, these products can be found in museums, galleries and boutiques throughout the world. In 1996, Calheira was even awarded the prize Gente que Faz, translated: people who do things that matter, for her work with economically disadvantaged people in one of the poorest areas in Brazil.
For the love of people
To add to the giving back story, Gardeco Objects gives part of the proceeds of The Visitor to different social projects in Bahia uplifting the community and making life in the favelas more bearable.
