The skilled craftsmen at Cá d’Oro began producing artistic glass works in Brazil in 1965. Founder Mario Seguso first studied his craft in Murano (Italy), recognized worldwide for its glass artisans and the creation of colorful and unique glass pieces. The Seguso family has been involved in the glass tradition since 1292 and brought that creativity to Brazil in 1954. In the 90’s Mario Seguso passed the management to his son Adriano and today Adriano’s sons Rodrigo and Guilherme are also part of the Cá d’Oro management and carry on the centuries-old style of creating the glass masterpieces. Cá d’Oro represents the finest of quality, design and artistic excellence in its glass creations.
